Mission Statement
Yuma’s Education Scholarship Fund for Kids, Inc. is dedicated to increasing the opportunities for children to receive a quality education attending a qualified private school in Arizona through the efficient implementation of the provisions of the Arizona State Private School Tax Credit.
About Us
Yuma’s Education Scholarship Fund for Kids, Inc. is a School Tuition Organization in accordance with the provisions of A.R.S. 43-1089 and 43-1089.03. Yuma’s Education Scholarship Fund for Kids, Inc. was incorporated in 2003 for the purpose of implementing the Arizona Private School Tuition Tax Credit and is a tax-exempt charitable organization pursuant to section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Board of Directors
Our board of directors includes six independent members from the Yuma community. The board meets on a monthly basis to review business needs.
Financial Statements
Arizona Revised Statute 43-1605 requires School Tuition Organizations to have a financial statement review or audit conducted by an independent CPA. The results are submited to Arizona Department of Revenue
Scholarship Reporting Requirements
Arizona Revised Statute ยง 43-1603 requires School Tuition Organizations (STOs) to publish scholarships awarded to students during the previous fiscal year. The following tables break down the scholarship award demographics by tax credit type.
